Gayathri Senthilkumar

Gayathri Senthilkumar is a distinguished Senior R&D Associate at a leading multinational corporation, specializing in food science and technology. With a robust academic and professional background, she has made significant contributions to the fields of research and development, particularly in the creation and enhancement of novel food products.

She holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Food Technology and has accumulated over three years of hands-on experience in Research and Development. Her expertise lies at the intersection of innovative food science practices, new product development, beverage technology and molecular gastronomy. Prior to her current role, she held specialized positions in Non-alcoholic beverage & flavor development, contributing to the advancement of products in the baby food sector and the development of GABA food and beverage solutions.

Her professional acumen is underscored by her deep understanding of food science, which encompasses the formulation of novel products and the application of advanced technological solutions in the food industry. She is recognized as a dynamic food consultant, leveraging her expertise to advise on and enhance the development processes of new food products.

Her contributions have garnered significant recognition within the industry. She was honoured with the "Young Researcher Award" in 2021 for her innovative research and impactful contributions to the field. Her research articles have been published in leading publications, including the World Record Book and the Asian Book of Records, both published by ESN Publications in 2021. 

Additionally, she was the recipient of the Pillars of India Award in 2022, further underscoring her excellence in the field. During her undergraduate studies, She achieved the university first in her state in the B.Tech Food Technology program, an achievement recognized with a gold medal by the Prime Minister.

She continues to advance the frontiers of food science through her research, development initiatives, and consultative roles. Her work is instrumental in driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of the food industry.
